No. Tagy is not a GPS device and does not provide continuous, live location tracking. It works via Bluetooth with the Apple Find My and Google Find Hub networks. Its location updates when a compatible device comes within approximately 100 meters of Tagy. The app displays the most recently detected location.

Yes. Tagy is compatible with iPhones running iOS 18.0 or later and Android phones running Android 12.0 or later. It uses Find My on iPhone and Find Hub on Android. There is no need to download a separate Tagy app.

Yes. You can attach Tagy to your pet's collar using a suitable holder. Please note that Tagy is not a continuous GPS tracker: its location updates when a compatible device on the Find My or Find Hub network detects it.

First, make sure Tagy is turned on, Location Services are enabled on your phone, and Find My or Find Hub has the required permissions. If there are no compatible devices within approximately 100 meters, the app will continue to show the last detected location. If the issue persists, reset Tagy to factory settings and pair it again.

Approximately 100 meters is the detection range between Tagy and a nearby compatible phone—it does not mean you need to be within 100 meters of Tagy. If another compatible device connected to the Apple Find My or Google Find Hub network detects it, you can view the updated location on the map from far away.
